The House of Seven Gables is a beautiful site for a wedding, wedding reception or both. It combines wonderful, colonial revival gardens, gorgeous grounds, three 17th century houses, the 18th century house where Nathaniel Hawthorne was born and the Salem waterfront for the perfect outdoor event.

The Rose Garden at Lynch Park is the perfect setting for your outdoor wedding and/or the perfect backdrop for beautiful pictures. Formerly the estate of Mr. and Mrs. Evans and the vacation home of President William Taft, this 95 year old rose garden, modeled after those in Italy, blooms each spring in brilliant color. Pinks, yellows, reds, oranges, purples and white bordered by rolling lawns and lush greens overlooking the beautiful Atlantic Ocean await you for your most important day. We invite you to come and take a look for yourself, we're sure you'll agree, there is no other option for your outdoor wedding!

The Gazebo at Salem Commons located in the heart of Salem, Salem Common has a rich history as a public park that dates back to the city's roots. Once used as a location for military shooting practice, the park is now a popular spot for an early morning jog, evening stroll or midday picnic with the kids.  Highlights include Washington Arch, the Salem Common gazebo, a war memorial and playground for children. The Salem Common Neighborhood Association works to preserve this neighborhood resource and historic site for the city.
